PANOPTICON

When you look at me what do you see? When you hear my voice what memories do awake in you? When I say "it's okay" do you believe me?

When I go silent do you hear the echoes of my disappointment?

I starved for years quenched my thirst with unspoken truths

Crushed my palms on my chest scratched scars open to hold on to eternal youth.

I lacked the courage to look into your eyes

so I opened my notebook and filled it with all the tears I cried

I didn't cry, I lied, I had my eyes on the price

but you wouldn't walk away with making me hostage to your life

I had to baptize you with words of my despise

What could have been a one on one

appeared on my lap as a rhyme

When it comes to my name

i do not compromise.

Paint me as the bad

and my good will mirror

You may be forgiven

Though ill remember your error

until I get enough of you

I will not stop

I will haunt you till I win

With realities and plots

When I race with my revenge

I will never let you see

I will make you eat your heart

until there is none left for me.

Don't take this as a tribute

I will never honor you

Take this as a reminder

of my might and of what I am potent to do.
