Cursed & Blessed

A gift was given, burdened breath,

By angels’ tongues that spoke of death—

A whispered flame that seared the soul,

A hollow light that swallowed whole.

He walked through lands where shadows weep,

Where seers dream and sages sleep,

And in his veins, the thunder stirred—

A power vast, a curse unheard.

The gift that tore his spirit wide,

No solace found, no place to hide,

Till stone and song and ancient lore

Revealed the truth none knew before.

A wall that whispered through the years

Of gifts entwined with bitter tears—

Of fire that burned but never blessed,

Of burdens borne by hearts possessed.

His fate unfurled before his eyes,

A soul that holds the world’s despise—

To drink the dark, to know the pain,

To be the warden of the bane.

And in that curse, he found his rest—

A soul that bled so hearts were blessed,

A flame that burned to save the morn—

For cursed are those divinely born.

If I reject, who shall be

The vessel of another’s peace?

The clever man will always see

He must feel pain for others to heal.

My burden carried like an iron shield

No sword shall ever Pearce

The only weapon in my arsenal

Is tempered by my fear

You cannot choose nor deny

Doors won’t open to a lie

When angels sing and sirens cry

Your power will be mirrored in the sky.
